The Islands - Saturday

We spent the day at the Islands, requiring a journey by bus, train, streetcar and boat...here is Louise with Uncle Ugly on the train ride!

We spent most of the time at the amusement park where there were rides that Louise could enjoy as well as ones for Sarah and Hannah.

They did go together down the Log Flume. We were all a bit anxious that Louise might be scared but it was not to be. See her here after the splash!

In the afternoon, we rented 2 man bicycles. After the requisite 'race', we settled down to a nice speed which put Louise to sleep. She looked quite gorgeous, asleep on the front of the bike. We got a number of oohs and aahs from passers-by!




Only sting in the day was the person selling the tickets who referred to Louise as 'he'. As Lesley will attest, I was not amused!
