Our vacation in Cape Cod

First a note that I had intended to 'blog' throughout our vacation but unfortunately (or not!) there was no cell phone reception where we were staying. Not such a bad thing really!

So we started off on June 21 with a very early flight to Boston. Everything was going well and we arrived on time at Logan International airport. One of the bags came around the conveyor pretty quickly and we thought we were going to soon be on out way but, every good plan has the chance to be ruined. You guessed it, the other bag was not on our flight. The red bag had taken a trip to Detroit instead. Now this might not seem like too much of a deal except this bag contained all of Louise's clothes and the sheets and towels for the week (the place we were renting did not provide these). We spent the next 45 minutes trying to work out how they could get the bag to us in Cape Cod when we eventually decided to wait for it. So we went and picked up the hire car and waited until the flight came in. Our bag was here - hooray. Next was a 1 1/2 hour drive to Wellfleet on the cape. We got some quiet time as Louise was ready for a nap and slept most of the way there.
