A Snow Day

So this morning we woke up to snow. Louise's school was not on the alert for Closings so we all got up as usual, got into the car and headed off to school, only to find it closed. So we all trundled back home to enjoy a snow day....!

Of course, we started the day with Mary Poppins, Louise's current favorite movie. We borrowed it from the library on Sunday and have watched it every day since!

Then we went out while Dad cleared the drive (snowblower, not shovel). Louise and I made snow angels and investigated the deck...!





WE then decided after lunch we should go sledding. Off we went, see all the kids having fun. Again, Louise went down twice then refused to go up again!!Strange!



SO we came home and Louise and Dad went out to make an igloo (or the next best thing, a snow tunnel!)
