Yankee Day

So today, April 8th is now officially declared Yankee day and will be celebrated on an annual basis!!

Gordon and I took the Oath and became American Citizens at a ceremony starting at 10am this morning. Louise came with us to witness the event. Greg and Christie Turnbull (our neighbors on Honeysuckle Lane) also came to the Courthouse. The ceremony was at the Courthouse on East Ohio street in Room 216.....

Some photos

A couple of Louise, first at home with her pretty outfit and then at the coffee shop before we arrived at the Courthouse

I would have posted a copy of the certificate but we immediately took them to the post office to apply for US passports so they are away right now!!
