Louise's huge thumb blister

This is not nice but if this is a record of Louise's childhood, the huge thumb blister has to be included.

A couple of weeks ago, Louise 'accidentally' cut her thumb with some 'safety' scissors. It bled a little and we put on a plaster and thought no more about it. A week later, she complained that it hurt and we could see that it had got infected. Off to the doctor for some antibiotics and it continued to grow until it burst slowly over the weekend in Houston. Oh my how gross it was and she was only slightly bothered by it once it stopped hurting a lot. In the end it was a water blister over the infected wound.
